I'm Bridget McGarry and I've been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 2015.  Even though I'm 20, I'm not too young to make a difference.  I hope to bring my generation's voice to the New York Local Board.  As a film student at Chapman University, I realized that most student filmmakers don’t' know how to make their sets union.  I wanted to audition for these incredible projects but couldn't because they were non-union.  My goal is to formulate a plan to help educate the next generation of filmmakers, so we can have SAG-AFTRA actors on their sets.
